The MSC staff consists of engineers, technicians, project managers,
and administrative support with extensive experience in Computer
Aided Design (CAD), Engineering, Design, Planning and Estimating,
Scheduling, Data Analysis, Material Support, Quality Assurance,
Integrated Logistics, and Training. Marine Systems also maintains
a full desktop publishing capability which creates, edits, and
transforms technical manuals from legacy paper volumes into Interactive
Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). There are several registered
Professional Engineers (PE's), including naval architects, on
staff and other individuals with advanced degrees in business
and law to provide full program management and contract support.
Typical MSC employees possess over 20 years of work experience,
and many have previous related military, government, shipyard
and/or private sector experience. The full time staff is supplemented
by expert consultants whose in depth knowledge allows the company
to meet personnel surge demands on large government, military,
public and private projects.
